Business intensive course. Day 2

Business intensive course. Day 2

What is in higher demand — fashion or functionality? How to combine fashion trends and demands for functionality? Can children’s wear be both stylish and comfortable?

These and many other questions were answered by speakers, founders and representatives of well-known Ukrainian brands.

Nataliia Yarysh, owner of Svarga TM:

We focus on ethnic style wear, merely casual that can be used for wearing at school. So our aim is to combine beauty, comfort and quality. Due to the large sales volumes, we can offer affordable prices for high-quality linen and cotton items. We also practice setting recommended retail prices. Our products are in demand in Poland, Canada, Czech Republic, but foremost in Ukraine.

Olena Komashko, development director of fashion stores by Andre TAN:

Andre Tan is registered in Guinness World Records book as the youngest Ukrainian designer. Andre TAN Kids line launched in 2018 was inspired by the birth of Andre’s daughter. And while our goal is inculcating a sense of style, comfort is much more important for children’s clothing. We care about it, sometimes by remodeling over and over again. Some of our items are quite expensive, especially festive ones, but casual closing is affordable for middle-class people.

Nataliia Boiko, owner of Viani TM, founder of Design and Kids’ Fashion School:

I have to sons, but willingly work for girls. Festive and casual dresses, school uniforms should be foremost comfortable, since comfort is a pledge of health. Thus, we pay the greatest attention to pattern making. We have our own secrets, so one and the same size is suitable for several constitutional types and ages. We use only cotton lining for school uniforms.

At our Design and Fashion School kids learn not only how to design but also how to show clothing, add makeups and accessories.
