Ukrainian brand created a charitable shopper bag to rehabilitate children from war zones

Gen.Ukrainian has created Gen.Camp, a health and education camp for psychological rehabilitation of children from the war zones in Ukraine.

JUL team joined the project and created a charitable shopper bag. All funds raised from its sales will be used to provide individual psychotherapeutic assistance and treatment for traumas caused by the war at Gen.Camp. Thus, more children will get qualified help, enjoy life and dream, not be afraid of the dark and believe in the best again.

Some children have lost their parents, some are as fathers and mothers for their younger brothers and sisters, and many have stories that are difficult to tell. All of them need help right now.

“In these dark times, it is important to see and notice the light. Everyone sees it in their own way. I see the light in children. And we should think right now about what our children will be like, what their mental health will be like, especially if they have suffered the loss of their parents or other tragic stories with their brothers and sisters. How will they continue to live in society? What should be their support in society? I want everyone to understand that it is not embarrassing, but important. It’s a great daily work for each of us − taking care of the present and the future. We contact professionals, teach guardians or parents about children’s mental health. Having little experience in basic psychoanalytic education, I know that mental health means the best quality of life,” said Julia Lohvyn, founder of JUL brand.

“After the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, I felt the need to help and understood: if I cannot fight for the borders of our country on the front, I will fight for the personal borders of Ukrainian children. Thus Gen.Camp project appeared,” said Oksana Lebedieva, founder of Gen.Ukrainian.

“The war is a trauma for all Ukrainian children. We will fully understand its consequences only after the victory. Now I measure my days by the opportunity to be useful,” said Oksana Shlenska, chief psychologist of the project.
