Winter solstice: BABY EXPO is nearer and yet nearer

Winter solstice: BABY EXPO is nearer and yet nearer

The date of the winter solstice varies from year to year, and can fall anywhere between December 20 and December 23. It happens on December 21 this year. It marks the longest night and shortest day of the year for the Northern hemisphere. As most are keenly aware, daylight hours grow shorter and shorter as the solstice approaches, and begin to slowly lengthen afterward. It's no wonder that the day of the solstice is referred to in some cultures as the ‘shortest day’ or ‘extreme of winter.’

Winter Solstice has been celebrated in cultures the world over for thousands of years. This start of the solar year is a celebration of Light and the rebirth of the Sun. As believed, people can clear oneself of past and rebirth this day, just like the Sun. They should celebrate Winter Solstice being pure in mind and body.

We, Baby Expo team, are wishing to put any hardships behind, move towards the spring together with our friends and partners, and bring along our best practices.

BABY EXPO 2019 is nearer and yet nearer, and it is expected to be a success.
