Entrepreneurs can accept cashless payments even without electricity

Power cut is not a reason to refuse purchases.

Entrepreneurs serviced by PrivatBank can accept card payments for goods and services even without electricity by using modern technologies. This was reported by Yevhen Zaigrayev, Member of the Management Board (Chief SME Business Officer).

According to him, in case of power cut, people can pay with contactless cards and gadgets via Terminal app, or using QR payment code via Privat24 app.

“Power cut is not a reason to refuse purchases. PrivatBank has some simple and practical life hacks on acceptance of cashless payments without elecricity. I suggest to download Terminal app on a smartphone or create QR payment code in our Telegram bot”, said the banker.

If you have an Android smartphone with NFC, you can use it as POS terminal. Just download Terminal app, register, and you can accept payments with cards issued by any banks.

Entrepreneurs can also use QR codes created for their virtual POS terminals. A seller goes to the Telegram bot, presses QR payment code and enters terminal’s merchant code (for example, S1240RWZ). A customer simply opens Privat24 app, scan seller’s QR code, enters payment amount and confirms the transaction.
