Moms learn about new products from TikTok

According to MMR.UA, although moms initially turned to TikTok to get away from boredom and domestic chores during the pandemic, they now increasingly use the platform as a replacement for Facebook and learn about new products and learning opportunities from TikTok. Many moms appreciate short content and freshness of new influencers and friends. According to the research of BSM Media, two out of three moms (62%) learn about new products when viewing new TikTok videos.

86% of moms said they had first started using TikTok in March 2020, although 70% said they would continue to visit the platform after the pandemic was over. The study polled 600 moms in the US in September 2020.

TikTok is a new channel that is rapidly gaining popularity. According to research, children’s toys and clothes are top products that perfectly fit into TikTok’s entertaining format. So why not use it as a tool to develop your business?
